About MeRyuGyung ("Rio") ParkWelcome to my website! I am a PhD candidate at University of California - Davis, Department of Political Science. My two subfields are IR and Methods. I am interested in the interplay between international trade and environmental policies. I am also interested in how non-trade issues, such as international security, affect international trade. I strive to pursue a variety of research methods, including text analysis and experiments.
I graduated from the College of Liberal Studies, at Seoul National University (SNU) in 2015, and received my B.A. in international relations and communications. I received my M.A. in public policy from the Graduate School of Public Administration, at SNU, in 2019. Before coming to the grad school, I have interned at the headquarter of the U.N.E.S.C.O as an undergraduate, and worked in the non-profit sector in South Korea for about a year after graduating college. I love collecting books (maybe more than reading them), watching movies (except for horror movies), and listening to Korean indie-bands. I am also an amateur photographer - if you are interested, check out my photography page! Thanks for stopping by, and if you have any questions or comments, please leave me a message :) |
